Fire at the Filter Systems Maroc site in Tanger Automotive City
Guyancourt, 12 September 2026 – PURFLUX GROUP confirms that a major fire affected its Filter
Systems Maroc site, located in Tanger Automotive City, on Friday 11 September.
The Group’s absolute priority has been to ensure the safety of its employees and everyone
present on site. According to the information available at this stage, no casualties have been
reported.
The fire has now been brought under control by the emergency services. PURFLUX GROUP
teams are working in close coordination with the local authorities and the relevant services.
An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the incident.
Initial assessments indicate that the production facilities have been very severely damaged
and that, at this stage, operations cannot be resumed in the immediate future.
PURFLUX GROUP has initiated business continuity measures to identify solutions aimed at
limiting the impact of the situation on its customers and partners.
